Am I currently protected against unforeseen events?
If you have entered into any agreement (business agreement, purchase agreement, sales agreement or lease agreement) you definitely have financial obligations and think: -
- I cannot pay my monthly payments;
- How can I pay my monthly bills?
- How can I cancel my contract or agreement?
- Will there be repercussions?
You must protect yourself during these difficult times having regard to our current economic crises and the Coronavirus. It is always better to rather be safe than sorry. Incorporate a vis major or force majeure or superior force clause in your contract or agreement to protect yourself.
